Trait 1 of 13
Relationships
Walk with the wise and become wise, for whoever associates with fools suffers harm.
Why it matters
Why this shapes a child
The friends a child chooses shape the adult they become, long before anyone notices the drift. Learning early what a healthy friendship looks like gives a student the confidence to walk toward good company and away from harm.
Try this at home
At dinner, ask: "Who did you sit with today, and what did they bring out in you?"
Classes cover one trait at a time, so a short conversation at home is usually all it takes to reinforce the week's lesson.
Help your child grow in relationships.
Weekly classes are voluntary, parent-approved, and led by trusted neighbors from churches across New London.
